Wonderful Podcast! Thanks coach Klein for keeping these kids inspired through these podcasts. What Ben calls ‘drive’ Is what international educators & coaches across Europe & Asia call “grit”. Perseverance towards a long term goal despite evident failure and a wall in front of you they won’t move. Your are right , easier said than done . It's great to see Mr. Klein catching up with former St. Charles track athlete, Ben Quigley. It's always inspiring to hear about the journeys of former students and how they continue to excel in their chosen sports. THE SHOWIn the spring of 2020, we lost the entirety of our season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In an attempt to provide our athletes with some semblance of the track family that our kids get each day at practice while they were stuck at home in lockdown, the staff recorded, produced, and aired 40 episodes of Let's Talk About Track, a show where Mr. Klein would sit down with St. Charles alumni, fellow St. Charles coaches, rival Minnesota coaches, old teammates, and more, all for the simple purpose of talking track.
